The Shire of Midhavens Harvest Feast

THEME: This years event and contest is focused on the tulip, as it came from the Ottoman Empire to the Netherlands in the last years of the 16th Century.
PRESENTATION: Each contestant will be given a pre-assigned time slot between 1:00 and 3:00 pm. Youll have a 15-minute time slot, during which you may use up to 10 minute for your presentation. The remainder of your 15 minutes is designated for question-and-answer from the judging panel. You will have the five minutes prior to your scheduled time slot to set up your display. A round table will be made available for this purpose.
- Each entry must have some relationship to the tulip as it falls within the scope of the event theme (see above).
- For all objects and bardic arts, one or two pages of documentation is required. Please bring four printed copies of your documentation to the event.
- Each contestant must contact HL Avelyn de Mowbray by Friday, 1 November 2013 to declare his/her intent to enter, and provide a description of his/her entry. If the entry is a research paper, the finished paper must be emailed to HL Avelyn by this date, and four printed copies brought to the event.
